This recipe was inspired by Dr. Josh Axe’s gut healing smoothie. We made a few changes to his original recipe to suit the taste buds more.
How To Make Green Smoothie For Gut Health
- 1-2 cups full-fat coconut milk or almond milk
- 2 cups kale
- 1 cup pineapple
- 2 cups spinach
- 1/2 avocado
- 2 frozen bananas, cut into chunks
- 1 tsp freshly grated ginger
- 1/2 tablespoon chia or flax seeds
- 1 tablespoon raw honey or manuka honey
- 2 tablespoons collagen powder
Blend all the ingredients in a high-speed blender for a couple of minutes or until it has a completely smooth consistency.
Serve in a glass and enjoy!
